Gambling Slots Guide is free to read because some of the casinos we write about pay us when a reader signs up through our links. This page explains how that works, which links are affected, and why a commission never decides where a casino appears in our rankings.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a casino. When you click one and open an account, the casino’s affiliate program can see the visit came from us. If you go on to play, we may earn a commission. You pay nothing extra, and the bonus you get is the same one the casino offers everyone who signs up that way.
How can you spot one?
Every affiliate link on the site carries the rel=”sponsored” attribute, the standard way to tell search engines that a link is commercial. In practice, the “Visit” and “Claim bonus” buttons on casino cards and comparison tables are affiliate links. Links to regulators, helplines and game providers are not.
Does a commission change the rankings?
No. Commissions never buy a ranking. A casino’s place on the list comes from the scoring on our how we rate slots page: payout rules, bonus fairness for slots, game library and RTP transparency, banking, licence and owner, support, and mobile. A casino that offers us a higher rate does not move up because of it.
We also list casinos we cannot fully verify, but without figures or a rating. When we have not read a casino’s current terms, we say so plainly instead of filling the gap.
Which casinos do we work with?
Most of the casinos on our list run affiliate programs, and we may have a relationship with any of them. Those casinos are offshore and are not licensed by any US state. Having a commercial link with a casino is not an endorsement of its licence, and we tell you where each one is licensed so you can judge the risk yourself.
Do casinos get to see or edit our reviews?
No. Casinos do not approve, edit or pay for our reviews. We do not sell sponsored posts, paid placements or guaranteed coverage. If a casino asks us to change a figure, we check it against their own published terms, and we only update the page if the source supports the change.
Why do we use affiliate links at all?
Checking bonus terms, reading slot info screens and re-testing withdrawal rules takes time. Affiliate commissions pay for that work without paywalls or ad trackers. We would rather tell you openly how the site is funded than hide it.
What should you keep in mind?
- A bonus is never free money. Read the wagering, the slot contribution and any cap on free spin winnings before you opt in.
- Only deposit what you can afford to lose, and set limits before you play.
- You must be 21 or older, and gambling must be allowed where you are.
